Good news for travellers taking their vehicles to the EU (including Ireland)
From 2nd August it will no longer be a requirement to show a Green Card for both commercial and personal vehicles. The EU's decision was published on 13th July 2021 and becomes effective on 2nd August 2021 - Green Cards must be carried until then.
